Lilly Jolie Berry was born in March of 2010. She came to earth to a very loving family that would do anything she wanted. She has a big brother and sister she loved being with and playing games of any kind. Lilly loved to play with her many doll houses, play dress up, sing, dance, play softball.... you name it she wanted to do it. See Lilly singing the fight song on the audio file at the bottom of the page.
Lilly was a very kind child as well. She loved her friends and community with love unimaginable for a child her age. At the age of 5 Lilly approached us and asked if she could start going on her birthday every year and donate her hair to little girls that needed wigs. We complied with that request, how could you not, and she enjoyed it very much. As a matter of fact she made her last donation about a month before her passing.
As loving and caring as she was, the community responded with a lot of love and compassion for our princess. The local softball league dedicated a field in her name with a memory jersey and benches with her name on them. Lilly loved being on the field with her daddy as a coach and to meet many new friends. Her daddy will continue to coach the same age group so he can carry on her name with her friends by sponsoring the team with her name. Below is a picture of her Mommy, Daddy, Brother and Sister with Lilly's Memory Jersey along with the benches.
